ARTISTS on the site
Sciencefindsart.com (SFA) is currently a completely free service provided to the artists who display their portfolios on the site. SFA has the right to remove any artists’ work from the site at any time for any reason. SFA credits and promotes artists’ work through the website as well as social media, email newsletters, print materials, and events (such as scientific conferences). SFA makes every attempt to notify artists when their work is used by SFA for any reason and will always ask for permission before reproducing work, either in electronic or print form. However, SFA cannot guarantee that images will not be taken from the SFA website or other SFA outlets - unfortunately, this is a risk that all artists shoulder when they share their work online.
Potential CLIENTS
The purpose of this site is to connect illustrators with people who are interested in hiring them. If you need help navigating the process of finding an artist to hire, consider asking us to help you.
SFA operates with a zero-tolerance policy for artist exploitation. We do not approve of and will not facilitate on this platform the practice of leveraging competitive bids for work into lower rates. If you are reported for this activity you will be added to a private blacklist. Artists are encouraged to report clients for other bad behavior including solicitation for free work, delayed payments, breached contracts, and under-payments. If you believe you have been blacklisted in error, you can voice your concerns directly to us.
SFA is committed to good behavior on both sides of the fence. Clients who hire artists through SFA are also encouraged to provide feedback on their experiences and report bad behavior. Artists will be provided with anonymous feedback. Artists who have been reported multiple times by clients may be removed from the site.
FINE PRINT
SFA may analyze the behavior of the website visitors for internal marketing purposes and to identify which content is the most appreciated and potential pitfalls, such as not found pages, search engine indexing issues, etc.

This website is hosted in the United States. The aforementioned website data is only accessible by SFA personnel and our direct contractors, some of whom may be outside the United States.
