Tasha

I was born in Russia, where I currently live and work. In 2016, after moving to another city, I left my position as television editor to start a new step of my art career as an illustrator and author of educational books for children about the nature.
My first illustrated book, authored by a professor of ornithology, tells children about the family of Corvids. This work was appreciated by the professional community and gave me a lot of inspiration to write my own books for children under the themes related to nature and illustrate them.
I get my inspiration watching nature, listening singing birds, traveling to the tropical countries. I like to reflect on paper the smallest details, to take advantages that a graphite pencil can give me. A pencil drawing is like a cardiogram: that happens, because the movements of the hand are determined by our knowledge, emotions, and our soul. The key is to find one's own object of love. In my case, it`s a wild nature.
It would be great for me to participate in the new international projects related to wildlife.
