Rebecca Jabs is a freelance scientific illustrator living in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She graduated in 2016 from the Science Illustration Graduate Program at California State University at Monterey Bay, following eight years as an art teacher in Wisconsin.

Rebecca works in digital and traditional media to create interpretive artwork and graphics. Her career facilitates a passion for learning about the natural world, and she enjoys making these concepts accessible and relevant to viewers through her work. Additionally, Rebecca teaches illustration workshops and participates in artist-in-residence programs, natural history-based art exhibits, and community art programs.

A few of Rebecca’s preferred forms of freelance work include: infographics; interpretive panels; botanical, zoological, and technical illustrations.
