  Mica Low

Mica is a 2018 graduate of the University of Washington's Museology MA program, and a 2014 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned a BA in illustration with a minor in scientific illustration. 

As a watercolorist and digital artist with a background in both narrative art and ecology, her work has a broad range of focus, but always features naturalistic detail and lively biomorphism. Her focus is on natural science illustration and science communication for the lay public, particularly illustration for exhibits and educational materials at museums, zoos, and parks. Her works aims to connect people to nature and foster biophilia in visitors and students of all ages. 

In addition to freelance illustration, Mica is a graphic designer and interpretive writer for museum exhibits.
